Вышел долгожданный финальный релиз линуксового видеоредактора Avidemux. Список изменений :
* Fixed make install for po directory
* Fixed Ffv1rec
* Fix for multiple gthread_init call (aakef)
* Better audio dithering (Mihail+Josh Green)
* Support for DV in .mov/.mp4
* Resample crash fix when upsampling (a nasty one).
* PCM in .mov/.mp4 sample size fix
* Fix for MP4/MOV files containing .url field
* Added smartcopy from cli or from javascript
* Fix encoding x264 with use bframe as reference + output to mp4

Now a summary of the changes :
* Support for mkv and flv files. For MKV you should rebuild an index systematically.
* Support for m2ts files
* The QT4 version is more adanced, not yet complete but usable.
* Revamped most of the dialogs.
* Two build systems available: automake/autoconf and cmake based.
* Process priority control (win32)
* New filter : yadif ported from avisynth
* MP4/MOV/3GP reader redone from scratch
* Better bitstream packer/unpacker
* Better TS support, including h264 (incomplete)
* If avidemux crashes, it will try to save the current state and offer to reload it at next start.
* Tons of bugfixes
* Tons of new bugs

Вышла третья, также известная как RC1, preview-версия видеоконвертера/редактора Avidemux.

Изменения по сравнению с версией 2.3:
К интерфейсам командной строки и GTK2 добавлен интерфейс Qt4 - можно собирать с любыми.
Добавлена альтернативная система сборки на основе CMake (в дополнение к autotools).
Поддержка MKV (Matroska) и FLV (Flash Video) на чтение (стабильно) и запись (бета-версия).
Экспериментальная поддержка элементарного потока MPEG-4 AVC (файлы .h264).
Поддержка DV как выходного формата.
Профили для конвертирования видео в форматы PSP (MPEG-4 AVC) и iPod (MPEG-4 SP).
Возможность не только распаковывать, но и упаковывать поток MPEG-4 ASP.
Поддержка звукового сервера JACK.
Восстановление после аварийного завершения.
