Фирма Innotek анонсировала выход VirtualBox 1.4.0 для Windows и Linux.

Virtualbox - кроссплатформенное средство виртуализации наподобие VMWare, но в отличие от VMWare бесплатное и имеющее Open-Source вариант (он не включает ряд средств работы с USB).

И одна из самых приятных возможностей, о которой давно просили - собственная поддержка образов VMware:
