QupZilla 1.3.1 ML
QupZilla, компактный и производительный web-браузер, созданный на базе технологий WebKit и Qt Framework. По набору возможностей предлагаемое приложение практически не отличается от популярных Chrome и Firefox, при этом потребляет гораздо меньше системных ресурсов, чем любой из перечисленных выше продуктов.
QupZilla предлагает вниманию пользователей большинство инструментов и функций, присутствующих в любом современном браузере, включая поддержку закладок, удобные средства просмотра истории и чтения RSS-рассылок и многое другое. Владельцы компьютеров смогут управлять паролями, загрузками и сертификатами с помощью соответствующих инструментов, а также настраивать внешний вид интерфейса браузера.
Приложение укомплектовано встроенными блокировщикам рекламы и всплывающих окон, а те пользователи, которые хотели бы сохранять свое пребывание в глобальной сети в секрете, по достоинству оценят функцию Do-Not-Track и режим анонимного серфинга Private Browsing. QupZilla также поддерживает импорт закладок из браузеров Chrome, Firefox и Opera. А функция Click to Play Flash автоматически блокирует flash-контент и обеспечивает его воспроизведение по запросу пользователя.
Отдельного упоминания заслуживает тесная интеграция приложения с панелью задач Windows 7. Щелкните правой кнопкой мыши по иконке QupZilla, и вы получите доступ к списку открытых вкладок. Предлагаемое меню также позволяет открывать новые вкладки и окна и запускать диспетчер загрузок.
На странице открытия новой вкладки может отображаться экспресс-панель со списком часто посещаемых web-страниц. Экспресс-панель QupZilla поддерживает механизмы Drag-and-drop и предусматривает широкие возможности настройки (пользователь сможет сменить фоновое изображение, определить количество эскизов, их размер и другие параметры). По сути, предлагаемая панель является идеальным «клоном» аналогичного элемента интерфейса, реализованного в браузере Opera.
Механизм Thumbnail Previews является еще одной полезной функцией, позаимствованной разработчиками у браузера Opera. При наведении курсора мыши на одну из вкладок, пользователь сможет увидеть ее содержимое в виде небольшого эскиза. Этот инструмент позволит быстро найти нужную вкладку среди большого количества открытых страниц.
Инструмент Cookies Manager предназначен для эффективного управления элементами cookies, хранимыми в памяти браузера. Благодаря поддержке «черных» и «белых» списков владелец компьютера сможет гибко настраивать правила хранения и использования cookies от различных сайтов.
Функциональность продукта может быть расширена путем установки дополнений. Пользователи QupZilla смогут добавить поддержку сценариев Greasemonkey и мышиных жестов, а утилита Personal Information Manager обеспечит автоматический ввод персональной информации (имя и фамилия пользователя, адрес электронной почты и др.) в web-формы.

Falkon 3.0 ML + RUS
Браузер пришел на смену QupZilla после перехода проекта под крыло сообщества KDE и переноса разработки в инфраструктуру KDE. Ожидается, что разработка под эгидой KDE позволит привлечь к работе над браузером новых разработчиков и стимулировать развитие проекта.
Из новшеств, представленных в Falkon 3.0, можно отметить экспериментальную поддержку дополнений на языке Python, переход на систему сборки CMake и возможность использования вертикальной панели вкладок, взамен горизонтальной. На данный момент пока отсутствуют компоненты для интеграции с оболочкой KDE Plasma, но она, как и возможность разработки дополнений на JavaScript/QML, уже заявлена в числе приоритетных задач, поставленных перед участниками инициативы Google Summer Code 2018.
Основные особенности Falkon:
Использование библиотеки Qt и модуля QtWebEngine, без добавления в обязательные зависимости библиотек KDE;
Первостепенное внимание уделяется экономии потребления памяти, обеспечению высокого быстродействия и поддержанию отзывчивости интерфейса;
При построении интерфейса используется родной для каждого десктоп-окружения набор пиктограмм, виджетов и стилей, что позволяет обеспечить оформление, неотличимое от штатных программ для GNOME, KDE и Windows. В интерфейсе активно используются вкладки;
Интегрированная подсистема блокирования рекламы (AdBlock). Для блокирования можно использовать как внешние чёрные списки (EasyList от Adblock Plus), так и добавлять собственные правила блокирования рекламы. Поддержка быстрого блокирования Flash-роликов и наличие режима активации Flash-контента только после клика;
Панель быстрого запуска (Speed-dial), выводимая вместо пустых страниц и позволяющая организовать быстрый доступ к наиболее часто используемым сайтам;
Панель быстрого поиска, позволяющая мгновенно отправить запрос к определённым поисковым системам и сайтам;
Унифицированный интерфейс для работы с закладками, историей посещений и RSS-лентами, оформленным внутри одного окна;
Поддерживается возможность изменения оформления через подключение внешних визуальных тем. Гибкие возможности по настройке интерфейса;
Поддержка расширения функциональности через плагины;
Единый унифицированный интерфейс для доступа к закладкам, истории посещений и подписке/чтению RSS. Вся информация представлена внутри одного окна;
Менеджер безопасных соединений (SSL Manager), позволяющий управлять локальными CA-сертификатами;
Режим приватной навигации, при котором данные об открытых страницах не оседают в кэше и истории посещений;
Управление закладками в стиле Chrome (через звёздочку в адресной строке). Реализация настроек также напоминает подход, принятый в Chrome;
Поддержка импорта закладок из браузеров Firefox и Chrome;
Интерфейс управления Cookie;
Поддержка написания дополнений для обработки содержимого web-страниц с использованием скриптов GreaseMonkey;
Поставка плагина PIM (Personal Information Manager) с реализацией системы управления персональной информацией, используемой для автоматизации заполнения персональных данных в web-формах (например, заполнение ФИО, email и т.п.);
