Компания Maxon выпустила третью версию своего приложения для 3D-рисования BodyPaint 3D. Это приложение которое позволяет Вам рисовать и раскрашивать прямо на трехмерных моделях. BodyPaint 3D освобождает Вас от скрупулезной работы - размещения текстур на модели, и позволяет Вам раскрашивать модель точно так же, как если бы Вы раскрашивали объект в реальной жизни - рисуя прямо по объекту. Даже самое простое текстурирование включает в себя создание двухмерной текстурной карты (2D texture map) и "наложение" ее на трехмерную модель. Сложности возникают, когда Вы пытаетесь точно совместить соответствующие части. А если бы Вы пользовались этим приложением для 3D рисования , Вы бы просто красили по "поверхности" модели. Предположим, например, что Вам нужно разместить брови на лице персонажа. Никаких проблем! - просто нарисуйте их! И никакой дополнительной работы.
