Darkwood is a game about survival, research and fear, which takes place in mysterious forests somewhere on the territory of the Soviet bloc. With a view from above, with freedom of movement, this surreal horror experience awaits you in a world that is regenerated every time. Taking an example from classic games, where you often had to figure it out on your own, and absorbing RPGs, roguelike, adventure elements and challenging complexity, Darkwood aims to cater to the players' thirst for a deep and worthwhile experience.

The fear of the unknown is very strong - the unknown will try to go unnoticed, forcing you to look back. Your feelings will be deceived, your vision will fool itself, your sense of smell will be misled by the surrealistic horror of Darkwood. The answer will not be given to you free of charge, but somewhere in the forest there is truth, an explanation of what happened in this godforsaken place.

Game Features :
In the afternoon, explore the randomly generated forest, look for useful materials and weapons, discover secrets, solve puzzles and talk, trade or kill the various inhabitants of Darkwood.
At night, find shelter, barricades, set traps and hide or protect yourself from the horrors that are hidden in the dark.
Get skills or perks by extracting a substance from mutated flora and fauna and introducing it into your bloodstream. It can also lead to various unexpected consequences ...
Every action you take will have an effect on Darkwood and its people. Each choice you make will determine the story you will follow.
Days will pass, the line between reality and nightmare fantasies will begin to blur. You will begin to doubt the sanity of the protagonist, but you can also stumble upon your own hidden fears ...
