This board game originates from the Indonesian island of Java. It gets its name from a large town in middle of the island, the old capital Surakarta.
At the start of each game both players have 12 identical pieces, placed in two rows of six in front of them, on a grid containing six horizontal rows intersected by six vertical lines. The aim of the game is to capture all of your opponent’s marbles. If at the end of the game nobody can move, the winner is the player with the most remaining pieces.
Players take turns moving their marbles: a move or a capture.
Moving a marble to a free adjacent space in any direction: horizontal, vertical or diagonal;
Capturing a marble can only be done by using one or more of the 8’s «three quarter circles» in the four corners of the board. The move for capturing, in this case can only be made horizontally or vertically, using as many intersections as necessary so long as the spaces are free! The marble rolls along either the blue or green line around one or more of the curves until it hits an opponent’s marble, hence capturing it and taking its place.

How to play
Bagh Chal is played with four Tigers and twenty Goats. At the start of the game, the tigers are placed in the four corners of the board.
The “goat” player places a goat on the board, which he can’t move until all twenty goats have been placed.The “tiger” player moves one of his tigers from one intersection to another, if there is a line linking them together and also if the intersection spot is free, or even (though he doesn’t have to) capture a goat by jumping the tiger over a goat onto a free intersection spot behind the goat, all in a straight line.
The “goat” player, from the twenty-first move onwards, can move his goats from one intersection to another, if there is a line linking them together and also if the final destination spot is free, and try to restrict the tigers’ movements.
To win, the goats must immobilise the tigers. The tigers have to capture as many goats as possible so as not to become immobilised. The tigers always have to leave the goats at least one possibility to move. Normally, if the “tiger” player takes five goats, he wins. The repeated repetition of moves is the equivalent to the “goat” player abandoning.

Marble Arena – типичная skill-game, а это значит, что пройдет немало времени, прежде чем вы приноровитесь к ней и начнете полностью контролировать шарик. Зато если посвятить ей достаточно времени, то можно добиться серьезных результатов. Целое интернациональное комьюнити игроков постоянно сравнивает свои достижения на официальном форуме игры.
Поначалу от кувыркания камеры и мельтешения ярких цветов немного рябит в глазах, но к этому можно привыкнуть, если, конечно, нет никаких медицинских противопоказаний. Управляется резиновый колобок либо мышью, либо клавиатурой - на выбор. На первых порах, правда, вообще кажется невозможным приручить этот круглый непослушный предмет, чем ни управляй.


Zap your way to the top in this new and exciting, free 3D game. Control your marble around easy to intricate full 3D levels, up and down slippery slopes, mastering physics contraptions such as air vents, jumppads and vortexes.
Fight your way through AI controlled marbles and send them flying into each other and towards their doom. The more points you get the bigger you grow and the harder you are to be pushed around by physics mechanisms or other marbles.
Navigate on several types of surfaces, such as sand, water, glass, ice and tarmac. Prove that you have what it takes by finishing levels before the time limit and get rewarded with upgrade points which you can use to improve your marble or change your skin.
Not enough excitement fighting by yourselves ? Add as many AI controlled marbles as you need to make the game really intense or join your friends in multiplayer games and battle it out on every map there is.

Glest is a free 3D real-time strategy game, where you control the armies of two different factions: Tech, which is mainly composed of warriors and mechanical devices, and Magic, that prefers mages and summoned creatures in the battlefield.


Glest - это 3D стратегия в реальном времени. Никаких выдающихся особенностей в игре усмотреть не удалось: добываем ресурсы – золото, дерево, камень; строим здания, улучшаем их, изучаем новые технологии, выращиваем все более продвинутых воинов, организуем оборону. Накопив достаточную толпу бойцов, атакуем врага. Ничего не изменилось со времен StarCraft, разве что трехмерье теперь больше в ходу. Играть можно по сети или с искусственным интеллектом в количестве до четырех враждующих сторон.
