This update significantly improves multi-cam and general timeline playback on the Edit page. Mac users will also see faster H.264 and H.265 encoding, while Windows users now have support for the latest Intel OpenCL drivers on Windows.
Project load and save performance has been improved, especially when loading a project with a large number of audio tracks and buses and handling of 5.1 and 7.1 audio for IMF clips is also improved.
The new Sony Venice 3.0 firmware update is included in this update and DaVinci Resolve Studio customers will also get improved support for decoding some Canon XF-AVC clips.

DaVinci Resolve 15.3 adds support for the new Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 and also Blackmagic RAW version 1.3. Pre-Installation Note For those using DaVinci Resolve or DaVinci Resolve Studio on Windows, we strongly recommend uninstalling previous versions prior to installing 17 Public Beta 5 and higher versions. Going forward, all Fairlight, grading and editor keyboard firmware updates will be managed from the DaVinci Control Panels Setup utility.
Important information regarding database management DaVinci Resolve 17.0 requires a database upgrade from DaVinci Resolve 16.2.7 and previous versions.
